Past Projects
In the recent past, HBDA successfully delivered on the following projects:

  • Business Link ‘Up and Running programme’- provision of business development and mentoring support for businesses trading up to 18 months

  • Black and minority business development project – provision of start up, mentoring and business development support for black and minority owned businesses

  • European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Business Benchmarking

  • ERDF- North London Business Empowerment Programme –North London

  • European Social Fund (ESF) Sure Start Business Health Check

  • Tottenham Task force business development programme.

  • ESF IT for Micro Businesses- a programme of ICT development support aimed at helping micro businesses to appreciate the use of ICT as a tool for improving business sustainability, productivity and competitiveness.

  • ERDF RETEX BEM business support- ICT awareness training and capacity building for Black and ethnic minority businesses.

  • Managing both the Taskforce and Phoenix loan funds (1 & 2).

  • NRF Local Procurement initiatives- assisting businesses to become fit to tender for local authority and public sector contracts.

  • Business Link Access to Finance programme- helping businesses to become finance ready to access business development finance from banks and other funders.

  • Youth into Enterprise and development programme- a handholding programme of support aimed at helping young people set up and run their own business.


We are also currently delivering a number of ERDF projects including Growing and Sustaining Start Ups (GaSS) and growing and developing SMEs.
